Zombi Defense strips the survival shooter down to its two essential decisions: where to aim, and what to buy next. You defend a fixed position while waves of undead advance from the edges of the screen. Aiming and firing are handled entirely with the mouse, which keeps the barrier to entry low, and the real texture of the game lives in the shop that opens between rounds.
Every kill contributes to a balance you spend before the next wave starts, and the shop forces genuine trade-offs. Raw damage clears the early rounds quickly but leaves you reloading at the worst moment later on; investing in fire rate or defensive upgrades feels slow at first and pays off once waves overlap. Because each round hits measurably harder than the one before it, a build that carried you comfortably through wave five can collapse at wave twelve. The game is procedurally paced with no fixed ending, so the goal is simply to push your personal wave record further. It works on desktop and on mobile, where aiming and shop purchases are handled by tapping.
How to Play
Aim and shoot with the mouse. Between waves, click items in the shop to purchase weapon and defence upgrades before the next round begins. On mobile, tap to aim and shoot, and tap shop items to upgrade.
Game Features
- Wave-based survival with no fixed end point
- Between-round shop for weapon and defence upgrades
- Procedural pacing that escalates every round
- Mouse-only controls, playable on desktop and mobile
Tips and Strategies
Buy fire rate before raw damage. Most early waves die to volume of fire, and a faster weapon keeps working when the wave count doubles.
Do not empty your balance every round. Saving through one shop screen often unlocks a tier that two smaller purchases never reach.
Thin the front edge of a wave first. Letting the leading zombies close the distance turns a manageable round into a wall you cannot shoot through.
Treat every death as information. The wave you failed on tells you exactly which upgrade you skipped.
