Solitaire Quest is a straightforward, well-presented take on classic patience. You organise cards in the tableau into descending sequences, work through the deck for the cards you need, and build each suit up in order to clear the board. It is the game that has occupied idle moments on computers for decades, and the reason it survives is that it fits a five-minute break perfectly while still rewarding thought.
The strategic depth is easy to underestimate. The most consequential decision in any patience game is which face-down card to expose next, because every hidden card you turn over expands the number of moves available to you. Players who immediately send every ace and two to the foundations often strand themselves later, since low cards in the tableau are what let you move sequences around. The stronger habit is to prioritise emptying a column and uncovering face-down cards over banking foundation progress early. Not every deal is winnable, so recognising a dead position and dealing again is part of playing well. Controls are mouse-only.
How to Play
Use the mouse to play. Click or drag a card to move it. Build descending sequences in the tableau and move cards to the foundations to build each suit up in order. Draw from the deck when you have no available moves in the tableau. Clear all four suits to the foundations to win.

Tips and Strategies
