Pipe Out is a rotation puzzle built on a rule everyone understands immediately: water has to get from the start to the end without a break in the line. Each level gives you a board of pipe segments in the wrong orientation, and you rotate them until a single continuous path connects the source to the destination. Nothing is hidden and nothing is random, which makes it a pure deduction puzzle rather than a test of speed.
The difficulty scales in a way that keeps it interesting. Early levels have one obvious route and a handful of pieces. Later ones include segments that could plausibly belong to several different paths, and the only way through is to find the pieces whose orientation is forced by their position and treat those as anchors. Corner pieces and pieces adjacent to the source are almost always the right place to begin, because they have the fewest valid configurations. The whole game is played with the mouse and runs in a 4:3 frame, which makes it comfortable on a laptop screen.
How to Play
Use the mouse to play. Click a pipe segment to rotate it. Arrange the segments so they form one unbroken path from the starting point to the destination, then let the water flow through to complete the level.
Game Features
- Deterministic rotation puzzle with no hidden information
- Difficulty that scales through ambiguous multi-route boards
- Level-by-level progression at your own pace
- Mouse-only controls in a compact 4:3 frame
Tips and Strategies
Start at the source and at the outlet. Both ends have only one valid orientation, which gives you two fixed anchors to build between.
Look for forced pieces. A segment in a corner or against an edge usually has just one configuration that can connect to anything.
Solve the route in your head before rotating. Clicking pieces at random makes it much harder to see which section is already correct.
If a section will not resolve, the mistake is almost always earlier in the chain, not at the piece you are looking at.
