About Dart Duell

Dart Duell is a genuine X01 darts game rather than a novelty throwing toy, and the difference shows in how it handles a throw. Each dart takes two inputs: you move the aim and lock it, then stop a moving power meter. Both stages are yours to get wrong, which reproduces the actual tension of darts far better than a single click ever could, and it means a bad throw is always traceable to either your aim or your timing.

The rules are the real ones. X01 requires you to count down to exactly zero and finish on a double, so the game is as much arithmetic as accuracy. Leaving yourself on 32 is a good position because it splits cleanly if you miss; leaving yourself on an odd number means spending a dart just to fix the parity. The game supports playing against the computer, a practice mode for accuracy work, statistics tracking across sessions, and challenging a friend in an online room. You can pick a player profile, a venue and a game format before you start. It runs at full 1080p and plays with a mouse, touch or the space bar.

How to Play

Move the aim with the mouse or by touch. Click, tap or press Space once to lock your aim. Click, tap or press Space again to stop the power meter and throw the dart. Press Esc to pause or resume. Before playing, choose your player profile, the venue and the game format.

Tips and Strategies

Aim for the treble twenty only when you need it. The twenty bed is narrow, and a miss lands in one or five, which are among the worst scores on the board.

Manage your finish. Leaving 32 is far better than leaving 33, because 32 halves cleanly into a double if you miss.

Lock the aim before you think about power. Trying to correct both stages at once is the most common source of wild throws.

Use practice mode to learn the power meter. The timing is consistent, so a short session there transfers directly into matches.

Controls
