Basketball League is arcade basketball rather than simulation, and it is better for it. Matches are one-on-one or two-on-two, the court is small enough that every possession matters, and the shooting mechanic is a charge-and-release: move to your spot, hold to build power, and let go at the right moment to score. Dunks, three-pointers, dashes and blocks are all available, and a supershot gives you a high-risk, high-reward option when you need points quickly.
The structure gives solo players something to work toward. Bronze, Silver and Gold Cups form a tournament ladder with achievements to unlock along the way, and the CPU difficulty rises noticeably between tiers. The real appeal, though, is the local two-player mode: both players share one keyboard, with Player 1 on WASD and Player 2 on the arrow keys. Shared-keyboard sports games have become uncommon, and this is a good one, easy enough that a newcomer can compete within a minute and deep enough that the charge timing separates players over a longer session.
How to Play
Single player: move with the Arrow Keys, press X to shoot or dunk, and press Z for a supershot. Two players: Player 1 moves with WASD and uses V and B; Player 2 moves with the Arrow Keys and uses L and K. Move to your shooting or dunking spot, hold the button to charge, and release to score.

Tips and Strategies
Release the charge at the top of the meter, not the instant you reach your spot. Timing the release matters more than where you shoot from.
Dunk when the lane is open, shoot when it is not. Contested dunks are blocked far more often than contested jump shots.
Save the supershot for a deficit. It is a comeback tool, and using it while level wastes the one thing that can swing a match.
In two-player mode, defend the charge rather than the player. Interrupting a shot mid-charge is the most reliable block in the game.
